Scoil na nÓg
Bunscoil Cónaithe, Lán-ghaelach, Bhuachaillí agus Cailíní í Scoil na nÓg.
Scoil na nÓg is a primary boarding and day-boarding school for boys and girls.
The aim of the school is to enable children to speak Irish fluently while giving them an excellent all-round education.
Children between the ages of nine and thirteen are accepted as pupils.
Located 7 Kilometres from Cork City.
Classes are small and individual attention is given.
Two and a half hours supervised study is held each night.
Pupils are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation and Entrance Assessments each year.

Scoil nÓg - Eolas:
Bunscoil chónaithe do bhuachaillí agus do chailíní í Scoil na nÓg. Is í aidhm na scoile ná líofacht sa Ghaeilge a thabhairt do gach dalta agus ag an am gcéanna árd chaighdéan oideachais a chur ar fail dóibh. Glactar le daltaí idir naoi mbliana d'aois agus trí bliana déag.
Ábhair:
Creideamh, Gaeilge, Béarla, Matamaitic, Tíreolaíocht, Stair, Eolaíocht, Eolas Imshaoil, Ealaín agus Ceardaíocht, Amhránaíocht, Drámaíocht, Corp Oideachas, Ríomhaireacht, Deaslabhairt, Rince agus Mím, Rince Ghaelach.
Ábhair Bhreise:
Fraincis, Gearmáinis, Pianó.
Muinteoirí:
Is múinteoirí oilte gach duine ar an bhfoireann múinteoireachta. Ullmhaítear na daltaí go mion do scrúdaithe iontrála.
Cluichí:
Cuirtear béim faoí leith ar chursaí spoirt agus caitheamh aimsir sa scoil. Ta linn snamh, cuirteanna leadóige, Páirc imearta agus halla spóirt ar an lathair.

Airgead Póca:
Tá banc scoile i Scoil na nÓg agus moltar do gach dalta a chuid airgid a chur sa bhanc seo. Ní ghlacfaidh údaráis na scoile freagarthacht as aon airgead nach gcuirfear sa bhanc seo.
Taisteal:
Téann na daltaí abhaile gach Aoine tar éis scoile ar 3 in.
Subjects:
Religion, Irish, English, Mathematics, Geography, History, Science, Environmental Studies, Singing, Physical Education, Computer Studies, Art & Craft, Irish Dancing, Speech and Drama.
Optional Subjects:
French, German, Piano.
Teaching Staff:
Each member of the teaching staff is a qualified teacher. Pupils are prepared for Entrance exams.
Recreation:
Students participate in various games and activities. Facilities include heated indoor swimming pool, gym hall, basketball/tennis/volleyball courts and playing pitch for games
Fees:
All fees are payable in advance. The school term is divided into two terms:
September – January
and
February – June
Fees include (a) On campus medical care; (b) Games – skills and training;
inter-school competitions (Sciath na Scoil); (c) Study – supervision and assistance.
Pocket Money:
All pupils are advised to deposit their pocket money in the school bank. The School does not accept responsibility for money which is not deposited in the school bank.
Travel:
Pupils go home on Friday afternoon after school at 3.pm.
Rialacha na Scoile:
Dírítear aire na dtuismitheoirí ar na rialacha seo leanas:-
- Tá sé de cheart ag Bainistíocht na Scoile dalta a chur ón scoil muna mbíonn iompar nó dul chun cinn sásúil aige/aici.
- Ní mór do gach scoláire filleadh ar an scoil ar an gcéad lá de gach téarma scoile.
- Ní cheadófar d’aon duine a bheith as láthair le linn na scoil bliana ach le cead speisialta agus ar chúiseanna speisialta.
- Ní cheadaítear do dhalta imeacht ón scoil nó ó thalamh na scoile gan cead ón bPríomhoide.
- Caithfear fógra i scríbhinn a thabhairt roimhré má bhíonn duine á thógaint as an scoil nó má bhíonn dalta ag éirí as ábhar ar bith.
- Ceadaítear do dhaltaí glao gutháin a dhéanamh nó a ghlacadh idir 9 - 9.30i.n. Ní ceadaitear fón le ceamara.
- Ní cheadaítear tobac a chaitheamh
- Ní cheadaítear do dhalta raidió, CD, MP3s, iPods nó Díritheoir Gruaige a bheith aige/aici.
School Rules:
The attention of parents is directed to the following rules of the school:
- The Management reserves the right to resign the charge of any student whose progress or behaviour is unsatisfactory.
- All pupils must return to school on the appointed first day of each term.
- Leave of absence during term will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.
- Students may not absent themselves from the school or school grounds without the Principal’s permission.
- Notice is required in writing prior to the removal of a student from school or the discontinuance of an optional subject.
- Pupils may make or accept telephone calls between 9 - 9.30 pm.
- Camera Phones are not allowed.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden.
- CD players, MP3 players, Ipods or Radios are not allowed. Hair Straighteners are also forbidden.
Éide Scoile (School Uniform):
School uniform is obligatory and must be maintained by pupils in good and clean condition.
