General Rules

 

  • Irish is the language of the College and students must speak Irish at all times to the best of their ability.
  • Students and visitors must obey College authorities.
  • Students may not leave the College without informing the College Office.
  • Smoking is not permitted.   Possession of alcoholic drinks, drugs or solvents will result in instant expulsion.
  • We advise parents to telephone as infrequently as possible, especially during the first few days of the course.   The use of mobile phones is restricted.   Camera phones are  forbidden.
  • Chewing gum is forbidden for reasons of hygiene, aerosols are also forbidden.
  • Hair Dryers and Straighteners, Ipods/Mp3’s and all electrical appliances are forbidden.

Management reserves the right to dismiss a student whose conduct is unsatisfactory or who refuses to comply fully with the college rules and language policy.

Full details of travel arrangements will be sent to each student before the commencement of the course.
